Sin U Lam
Born 2001, Macau, China | Based in London, UK - Drawing inspiration from Macau's rich tapestry of East-meets-West culture, Sin U Lam’s practice is rooted in the city’s resonant visual language. Her abstract compositions explore the tension between structure and spontaneity, often reflecting the impermanence and transformation inherent in Macau’s rapidly evolving urban landscape. In her work, forms emerge and dissolve, capturing the fleeting interplay of memory, place, and identity.
Now based in London, Lam’s artistic evolution is shaped by her cross-cultural perspective and a curiosity for how environments—both physical and emotional—inform visual expression. Her fluid and vibrant style echoes the liminality of spaces in transition, where the past and future coexist in the present moment.
Lam received a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London in 2024, and a Foundation Diploma with Distinction from the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts. She has exhibited in group shows across London, Seoul, and Macau, with an upcoming exhibition at HART in Hong Kong.
